OK Folks,

Looks like this is gonna be a lot of fun and I am looking forward to meeting many of you! BTW: Ron Arra is gonna be there too... so why don't we all meet him at his booth...say around 1 PM? :D

Also, there is a good chance Fish-Eye Laptew will be joining us too... ;)

This has probably been said but it is worth repeating;

the show this year is NOT at Cordage Park like it has been in the past. It will be at the Independence Mall in Kingston MA.

Personally I enjoyed the previous venue but what are you going do.

bassmaster 03-19-2003 11:49 AM

Squid kids Dad 03-19-2003 02:04 PM

Is Handlebar Harry's the name of the burger place you talking about? If it is it's in Cordage park..

BEETLE 03-19-2003 02:41 PM

I think that burger joint he means is the charlie horse - unless the name has changed. It was on the left about 1/2 to 3/4 mi. after getting off the exit on the way to cordage pk.

chris L 03-22-2003 09:10 PM

YES I DID !!!!!!! I just dont know what I won . some kinda rod from some kind of raffle . My daughters now want one of my other rods . "its not fair daddy "

Thank You very much !
from me and both my daughters

Slipknot 03-22-2003 09:22 PM

Chris, nice to meet your beautiful daughter, she will outfish you if you don't give in to her demands, give her the rod :)

bassmaster 03-22-2003 09:36 PM

what Slip said:D

chris L 03-22-2003 09:57 PM

Thanks Guys she is a beutiful kid and a good one too , they both are !
It all depends if it will fit her If not she already knows which one of mine (ours) she wants . See I have 2 daughters and if one wins a rod then the other one does too . You know how it goes . So if the one I won fits Alex then Jessie will get Alexs rod . And I will get to smile see we all win .

I have no idea what the prizes were . I just get into them raffles to help support the MSBA and the juniors .

So what length was the stick ?

TheSpecialist 03-22-2003 10:04 PM

Chris rod was perfect size for the young ladies. You sir need to go to the track. ;)

Karl F 03-22-2003 10:09 PM

Van 03-23-2003 07:13 AM

I think it was about a 6-6 1/2 foot. Just right for schoolies and your daughter. Sute kid is right, I met Greg's daughter too. Another cutie !!

Chris make sure to check the side pockets of the carbone bag there are a couple of lures I stuffed tin there too.

Enjoy and Thanks.

There are still plenty of tickets to be drawn. Maybe you can win that custom with the Penn reel for your other girl!!!:D

bassmaster 03-23-2003 07:35 AM

Chris Your Kids and You can come fishing here in april for some schoolie action if You like.

chris L 03-23-2003 08:24 AM

thats the perfect size for Alex 6 to 6.5 feet . Shes going to be so excited ! I told her yesterday that if the rod was sized for her then she gets the prize . She kept wanting to check the door prize #s everytime she saw someone at the board . After dinner she even suggested going back to the show . But we had to be home before 8pm . unfortunately ! It would have been nice to see all your faces when she won !
Thanks Van .

John we will have to get together so Alex can get her rod . Shes going to want to go to the show today .

CONGRATS ALEX !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll extend the same invite to you that I gave Danno. Come to my place, you can look at some tackle, we'll swap some of the same old stories, I'll charge you $12 for a pretzel and a coke, then you can go home. ;)

Phil,
As much I enjoy your place... and you called it on missing the NY Flounder opening day festivities... it was a good show and you were missed!

I am going to stop going to Suffern and the NY Show, but I will go to this event again.

p.s. I looked everywhere I didn't find any Pretzels
:)

TheSpecialist 03-23-2003 09:57 PM

Mike P 03-24-2003 10:10 AM
