Backbeach Jake
 

I've fished the Cape's backbeach ever since I was old enough to ride my bike across the Cape, 2.4 miles where I am. And Jake is the traditional nickname for my surname.

Ahhh! Some Mooshes! Not from the Lake but I did loose a significant portion of my youth at Wallabys, Cindys Place, and Smaxies II shotting darts with some Mooshes

Teasing is my personality. I teased my brother while we were growing up. Now my wife gets it along with my kids. It fit well as a boat name and call name on the radio. It also become the name of my business. I spell it wrong because I am a former math teacher who can't speelll.:spin::rotfl::spin:

A day or so before I joined this site my son was helping me clean out the truck from a recent CC fishing trip. His job was to vacuum the sand out of the vehicle. While he was vacuuming, I heard him say, they should call you the "sandman".

Previous title I had at work and what my wife said about me once when I was looking for a user name. Now work at the nut house too. Go figure.

When I first started lurking the forum, I always liked the names of the others, Basswipe,Sandman,Timberslingah,etc... I originally wanted to use FishPuke ...but came up with the above instead !

The first time I signed up for a fishing board, my name "Ty"was taken, so this was the best I could do in 5 minutes of thinking. It's not a nickname or anything like that.

College nickname. Put a kid through a wall at a party, somebody yelled Bronko Nagurski.... the rest is history:smokin:

Flaptail= A classic striper plug and we all know how I feel about plugs, but on the weekends I go by Yvonne

Steve Buschemi's character in "Armageddon" was a geologist and they called him "Rockhound"

i was born on a hunter moon so my pops called me mrhunters or just hunters stuck for quite some time and I am not creative when it comes to handles so that is what i use.:tooth:

Well my original screen name was not available... someone who rarely posts has it i guess, so, the next closest thing was rockfish9, rockfish being obvious... the 9 is for my german hertage, the 9.. meaining nein... as in No.. I will not tell you where I'm fishing...

Marsh is short for the town I live in and Cappa has been my nickname for as long as i can remember.

I found this name some many years ago and it stuck . I was also in 1983

it was the name of the river patrol boat in the movie apocalypse now- i liked it and figurred if i ever got a boat thats what i'd name it.

I caught my first bass on MV. When I joined I wanted to use a vineyard name and I always like the name squibnocket as well as it's nickname squibby. I have caught a few fish around there too:tooth: 17 was my number in Soccer and Lacrosse in highschool

Because the only way to eat a blue is to smoke it for 5-6 hours, and blues seem to be what I catch most.

Because I target large and practice catch and release.

My last name is Hayes so that turned into Hazey in high school. I was born in 84.
