I think it's time for a vacation from this site. We're putting back 30 lb fish and guys a posting pictures of 30 INCH fish?

John, perhaps it's time for some quality control on posting pics again. This time NO DINKS!!!!

MAC 09-04-2007 11:17 AM

LOL, He doesn't realize guys aren't as tolerant here as they are over there...:poke:

UserRemoved1 09-04-2007 11:24 AM

What's wrong with posting pics of fish? There's got to be a size limit now?

Scott, you know me better than that.

I just don't think people should be killing 28" fish. It's his right, I know. But don't publicize.

Considering the season I'm having I'll be killing my next 28" fish...and enjoying it served barely cooked :hf1:

and WHY NOT??? Perhaps killing 30's and 40's that are probably stronger breeders is better?

I kill for the table, and it's my preference to eat smaller fish, under 20 lbs. Now don't get me wrong, I see no point to bragging about catching small keepers...

daceman63 09-04-2007 01:35 PM

the law says 2 at 28"....that's what I'll take and keep if I catch them...but I guess I won't be posting that here....lol

MrHunters 09-04-2007 02:35 PM

so out of the loop.

You can make the acronym for it out of the beginning letters in your last sentence, if you throw out the t and one of the o's ;)

Saltheart 09-04-2007 02:56 PM

People can post any fish pictures they feel are worth seeing. Sometimes people just want to share a good time , size of fish doesn't matter.

ilovetwofish 09-04-2007 03:09 PM

I would rather keep and eat a 28" striper, for one they taste better then the big ones and secondley I feel I would be taking away from a good gene pool by keeping the bigger ones.

Mike P 09-04-2007 06:21 PM

Sorry--but I've had my fill of this guy on the other site, where he uses a different handle.

His buds like him--I find his act tiresome. Did you guys overlook the "ya cant fish" part of it?

To each their own.

BigBo 09-04-2007 06:30 PM

I'm in full agreement Mike.

Never heard of him...

Nothing is wrong with posting legal pictures of bass legally heading for the table. If you don't like it, show up at the meetings and try to get the size changed...

On the other hand, a self described judge of others' fishing capabilities would have a little more cred posting large fish (possibly being released) instead of some barely legals before shouting "Ya Can't Fish"

:musc:

Bill L 09-04-2007 07:57 PM

is this the same guy that just posted a photo over there of a 50" fish caught 8/29/07 but he didnt brag about it until he entered it in a contest a week later?

Yeah, the "50 inch" fish with a metal tape stretched over it, with about a one inch high kink in the tape at the 39" mark? :D:rotflmao::hs:

I think that's the guy.

MarshCappa 09-05-2007 10:00 AM

I Can't Fish!

:hee::fishslap:

I got to laugh at this guy, if he didn't come out bragging it would be a different story. I've seen plenty of shorty pics but it's the story behind the fish that makes the fish in my opinion. All of my posted fish have been less than 32 but I didn't post the story with guns a blazing about how great I was. Quite the opposite in fact. Oh and by the way I'm still looking for the keeper for 07' and the clock is ticking!
