Here are my first couple needles I have been testing. Not primed just sealed and some of the grain lines look cool, good contrast. What do you think?

Ah.. the fun stages of needle-hood, me, I'd put the hook, and eye more forward, and a belly weight either side of the belly hoo, assuming you've got a tailweight in there ... but that's just me ;)
Nice... have fun, and go for the action and look you want :D

Nice work.:hihi: Is that a darker grain running through on the top of the plug?

Your off and running .. keep it up ,,Karl had some good tips there ..

Yeah, darker grain lines on top of the plug really came out when I sealed the plug.

It is tail weighted and just under the eyes as well. When I swam it, it swam good but the nose was a little lighter than I wanted. By putting the hook and eyes a little more forward that may help out. Thanks for the suggestions.

a light nose is a good thing IMO, but thats just me :D
