1st newborns

Here are my first couple needles I have been testing. Not primed just sealed and some of the grain lines look cool, good contrast. What do you think?

Ah.. the fun stages of needle-hood, me, I'd put the hook, and eye more forward, and a belly weight either side of the belly hoo, assuming you've got a tailweight in there ... but that's just me
Nice... have fun, and go for the action and look you want

Thumbs up

Nice work. Is that a darker grain running through on the top of the plug?

Yeah, darker grain lines on top of the plug really came out when I sealed the plug.

It is tail weighted and just under the eyes as well. When I swam it, it swam good but the nose was a little lighter than I wanted. By putting the hook and eyes a little more forward that may help out. Thanks for the suggestions.
