Children's Fishing Clinic Cancelled
 

To all who volunteers - the children's clinic planned for Saturday 9/17 has been cancelled due to anticipated weather.
The Sachuest Point Refuge will still have there open house from 10am to 2pm and it will be held indoors. I will be setting up a "surf fishing table" inside the refuge center - if anyone wants to help out you're welcome. Table will display various equipment, show how to tie various rigs, have a lure display etc.

Thanks to all for your committment - just can't control the weather.

Man, that's disappointing. But it'll probably save some lives -- from me, not the storm. When I told my mother what I was doing, she said, "What? You hate kids! If they don't get it right the first time, you'll be throwing them in the water and bashing their skulls off rocks!" :laugha:

Gotcha. I'm going to swim out to my fav boulder field and lash myself to a rock now... :happy:
