To all who volunteers - the children's clinic planned for Saturday 9/17 has been cancelled due to anticipated weather.
The Sachuest Point Refuge will still have there open house from 10am to 2pm and it will be held indoors. I will be setting up a "surf fishing table" inside the refuge center - if anyone wants to help out you're welcome. Table will display various equipment, show how to tie various rigs, have a lure display etc.
Thanks to all for your committment - just can't control the weather.

Man, that's disappointing. But it'll probably save some lives -- from me, not the storm. When I told my mother what I was doing, she said, "What? You hate kids! If they don't get it right the first time, you'll be throwing them in the water and bashing their skulls off rocks!"
The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
