A great way to start the day!

Opening up a can of tuna with my grannie's circa turn of the century can opener and on the very last slice the opener goes thru that last little bit of metal connecting the lid to the can and the point of the opener procedes directly into my left index finger stopped only by the bone.

Its a damn good thing I keep all the goodies like butterfly closures, guaze etc. in the house.

Nothing like a cup of joe and a slice to the bone to start the day!

well gee..........

maybe you should replace it now with a good electric can opener
and then have your Granny bake you a cake...

sorry to hear about the finger....hope you disinfected it good. :uhuh:

Ouch!

Could be worse...I did the same thing on Block Island at 1am filleting a fish. No first aid kit or anything.

Talk about learning a lesson.

Lucky! I hacked a tendon on a butter knife while doing the dishes a few years back, and it was the smallest of cuts, didnt even bleed. No work for 8 weeks, 4 weeks of rehab with a hotty college grad 3 times a week made it not so bad.

never ever use tuna near your bush . the smell will bring rats
