Eddy Felice.. the King of Pleasant Bay.. Howard Rogers!... yikes.. a name from the way back machine... Think he was a selectman waaay back too.. when we had decent folk in those positions. Thanks for the pics! |
Thank you so much for sharing those pictures. It is one of my passions to collect old pictures and memorabilia from those days.
To better understand and promote the future of our sport we must preserve and protect the memory of the past and those who came before us. Thanks for helping that cause.:claps: |

GREAT photos... The history is great.... It must have been amazing to be part of that.....
|
Your welcome Guys.... Bob's told me some great stories of him staying on the beach for weeks in the summer with his father and other guys too when his father was working. Looked like great times, wish I had experienced it.
|
Very cool! 48lbr in Pleasant Bay and tuna of the beach are incredible!
|
Wow, really great photos. That was fishin! Indeed those were the days...esp for surfcasting all along the coast.
Today between the private property, the beach restrictions, poor quality of fish, over fishing and a weak DMF we have what we have today. IMO this situation will not get better in our lifetime. |
Thanks for sharing.

I'll load them into the gallery but don't want them buried under my ID. Is there a way to make a folder in there with a sticky for old time photos so everyone can add some? Slip? JohnR?
