Wilfork?

anyone hear his take on his eye poke last night?

BigFish 12-30-2007 09:05 PM

Better a Wilfork in the eye than a Wilknife!:poke:

Raider Ronnie 12-30-2007 09:42 PM

espn said earlier today, most likely a fine will be coming.

The Dad Fisherman 12-30-2007 09:47 PM

Stupid is as Stupid Does....shouldn't have tried to poke the guy in the eye. It will cost him a few bucks

Backbeach Jake 12-31-2007 06:18 AM

Stops an argument in a hurry, tho..:poke:

Raven 12-31-2007 06:25 AM

i kept looking

on the tape recording of the game to see what prompted that

Uncle Matt 12-31-2007 03:33 PM

It worked for the Three Stooges!

MAC 12-31-2007 04:32 PM

I dunno. Was it a poke in the eye, or pointing a finger trying to get a point across?

woop,woop,woop:poke:

afterhours 12-31-2007 04:38 PM

looked like an "attempted" poke in the eye...????

BigFish 12-31-2007 04:41 PM

Wilfork is getting a rep as a dirty player....if he was not a Patriot I would have to agree!:rotflmao:

chief10 12-31-2007 04:56 PM

I find it hard to believe Wilfork would just poke the guy in the eye. something had to happen. Usually they come up swinging. must have said something about his momma.

Slipknot 12-31-2007 05:04 PM

Come on , he was just helping the guy out getting some dirt out of the corner of his eye :as:

BigFish 12-31-2007 06:32 PM

His contact may have been slipping?:poke:

Don't get to use this smilie much!>:poke:

:smash:Every team needs one or two "intense guys" Ever heard of guys like Butkus & Dobler, not exactly alter boys but they got the job done.:eyes:

I've got to agree with you.
Tom Jackson is an Idiot !
Chris Berman too!!!

ProfessorM 12-31-2007 10:18 PM

Conrad Dobler would have bitten his finger off

Mike P 01-01-2008 12:44 PM

Butkus wasn't known as being a dirty player. He was known for being a tough player who hit hard but clean.

Raider Ronnie 01-01-2008 01:08 PM

It's funny how some players who play dirty are hated or loved depending if or not they play for your team!
Rodney Harrision is a perfect example of this !
Jack Tatum is another !

I also don't consider Tatum to be a dirty player---he was much the same as Butkus. He'd try to decapitate you within the rules, and not with a cheap shot.

Most of his bad rep came off a clean hit that had tragic results :(

Lester Hayes and George Atkinson were much dirtier Raiders than Tatum.

It's not hatred, it's fear. Just looks like hatred. All fear does.
