Extra hungry tonite so i drove down to get a cake. Heard on the radio that with the price of copper and nickle,
it costs more than a penny to make a penny and over7 cents to make a nickle.

Government may start producing both in steel. :err: Even during WW II they only used steel for pennies.

Then to top it off, it was $5.29 for a plain 2inch cake with icing. :wall:

What are you guys talking about. Pennies haven't been made of copper since a way long time ago for the same reasons. It has been zinc plated copper for I don't know 30+ years?
