Tiger in Accident

Tiger Woods seriously injured in car crash
Golfer hits fire hydrant, then tree outside his house, highway patrol says

The Florida Highway Patrol says Woods hit a fire hydrant and a tree as he pulled out of his driveway early Friday in his 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle.

Woods was taken to Health Central Hospital. His condition was not immediately known, though the news release said his injuries were serious.

The highway patrol says the crash is still under investigation, and charges are pending. However, the highway patrol said the crash was not alcohol-related.

BigFish 11-27-2009 06:06 PM

Raven 11-27-2009 06:23 PM

coulda been on the phone arguing with the wife too :fury:

that always helps your driving skills

PRBuzz 11-27-2009 06:52 PM

Happened at 2:30AM. His wife rescued him from the vehicle with what else: a golf club breaking the rear window of the Caddy SUV.

Raven 11-28-2009 06:36 AM

i was thinking similar

that he was bolting away with the SUV........ (escape)

just after the domestic dispute .... she threatoned him
with the golf club to wrap it around his friggan neck :smash:

then she smashed the back window as he tried to speed off

he tried to avoid the rear window getting smashed
(turning the wheel)
and sped off while looking backwards screaming at her

"Don't you do it" and smashed into the tree and hydrant instead
because he wasn't looking where he was going.... :uhuh:

nightfighter 11-28-2009 04:22 PM

Given that he lives in an expensive, gated community, there has to be cameras all over that property.... Just when will those still frames come out?

She read something from the "party girl" on his Blackberry while he was in the shower... Think she picked up a club to swing after he mentioned the pre-nup? Did his Onstar kick in? Wonder if they could hear anything.....

How's the ol' saying go?

"Show me a sexy model, and I'll show you a guy that's bored of having sex with her."

this thread is worthless without pictures :devil2:

Man I'd hit that so hard she'd look like one of Tiger's golfballs on the 4th fairway :hee:

I don't think that's her...

-spence

ProfessorM 11-28-2009 08:26 PM

thats her. She was the nanny for his neighbor and pro golfer, Mark O'Meara. That is how they met.

Raven 11-28-2009 08:50 PM

on the other hand

if she was pushing him to the point of violence
the best thing he could have done was to just leave
before she badgered him into smacking her....:fury:

then he really would of been up the creek without a paddle
too bad his escape attempt failed...

hitting a tree is one thing....
hitting a hydrant makes an investigation necessary

Definitely her. Here's another. Not sure who's rock she is sitting on, not trying to spot burn. Any of you guys care to claim?

*sigh* I'll be the immature one...

I've got a rock (or two) for her to sit on.

Jasper Parnevick's also.
The only woman his mother would approve. If you remember there was a line out the door, of course, of willing sheet music players

Words from Tiger:

“The only person responsible for the accident is me,” Woods said. “My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.”

JohnnyD 11-29-2009 04:23 PM

This is Tiger trying to get the press off his back.

He is notorious for keeping a strict lock and key on his personal life. Hell, I read in one of the articles that he named his yacht "Privacy".

striperman36 11-29-2009 05:36 PM

How fast to you have to be going to take that SUV and stick a fire hydrant and a tree in it like that. That thing looks trashed.

No wonder she used the rear entry to get in, haha.
