and swimmer....
you'll appreciate this little story....
i was in springfield one day attending a one time event and had very little knowledge of the city.... i was 18 at the time....
i'm driving and came to a light ...waiting behind this car....two people in it that i could see...the light turns green....and they just sit there...with the driver reaching over to the passenger numerous times...i wasnt quite sure what was happening ok... i start to get annoyed and beep
finally getting out and walking up to the side of the car (prolly not the best idea) the light is now red. but i figured maybe i could help...
i look at this poor distraught woman....the LOOK in her eyes told me the whole story in a FLASH...and the passenger was sitting their with blood gushing out of him like he was yosemitees main attraction....and i suddenly realize she's lost her ability to drive....
i yell at her....ok i want you to drive on my bumper as close as you can...and go as fast as i drive.....i'll take you to the hospital ok... she nods compliance as i had given her a direct order...
now i didnt even know where the freakin hospital was...but i could see those blue "the hospitals this way".....signs...so i jump back in the car and get right in front of her and we take off....
at that moment i became sort of a emergency response team guy..
and with my horn BLARING like a siren i became the police car
escort and we drove like 80 mph in town to the emergency room entrance ...and she did just like i told her...glued to my bumper
i dont know if they saved the persons life....but i hope they made it in time.....
