This is total BS... "rust up and fail on you". Dude, a quick hit of wd-40 when you suit up and a $3 pair of pliars and a $.99 pair of nail clippers will last well over a season. Ask my partner... no one takes worse care of their stuff than me. My equipment goes from my side, to the trunk of my car... NEVER rinsed. I am on my third season with my pliars and second with my trusty nail clippers. removes hooks and cuts braid... no problem.
