same thing was done at Monomoy and parts of Nauset...
I had a talk with the guy they hired to do the trapping..he was so pissed at the audubon people that they sent to help him.. he was going to relocate the skunks to central mass where he is from...but they insisted on drowning them in the burlap bags (he said they won't spray if they are bagged, when trapped, and they can still breathe OK in there) he had them stowed in..he got so pissed he quit, he said they took a little too much glee in doing it too.
I remember the seagull thing, that did not work out well, as was cancelled after them falling out of the sky over main st. Chatham...and the sharpshooter from out west for the coyotes..
