we usually keep extra on hand too but when you suddenly need it for chain saws, snowblower and vehicle (because you LITERALLY could not buy it anywhere) the 10 gallons we had on hand went REAL quick.
I guess the point I was trying to make was even a generator under these conditions cant always be relied on as a back up plan. Its only helpful if you can keep it running.
