Fishng records should go to hard working fisherman , long time fisherman , old timers who toss bait from folding chairs , beginners and kids with snoopy rods. A record indicates one thing , you caught a big fish. Be that by hard work , knowledge of fishing , the grace of God or sheer dumb luck, you catch the biggest fish , you get the record. That's all there is too it. I don't have any problem with that.

Whether the record stands or not , congrats to the guys on a nice fish.
