Actually, in this case it was dental insurance and I didn't have a choice as it was the only plan offered by my employer.

Nobody has proposed socializing the entire system, and as I mentioned before we
already have a hybrid social system. Additionally, from what I gather the health care in Canada and the UK aren't that bad. Most people's opinions have been formed by years of misinformation and rhetoric.
