Something New

I've had just about everything you can imagine fail on fish but this is a new one to me.

Now I have broken 20# Fireline at the Palomar that ties it to the 75# swivel tied with 60# orvis mirage to a spinlink on a jig when I snagged it. What did you have it tied to?

Was it a real breakaway? I've heard there are some not so good knock-offs out there. Sorry for your loss.

It looks like the plug or lure ran up on the clip or the fish did a good number on it by twisting it. The only other I saw twisted like that one was used backwards. Bummer..
