Eat This !!! Not That !!!

Every year Americans spend 542 million on health and fitness books , 18.5 billion on health club memberships, 5.2 billion on diet foods and weight loss programs . When its all said and done we'll spend 60 billion trying to keep the pounds off ..
This is information from this book and its all about food . like ,,,
* The average piece of chicken has 266 percent more fat now than in 1971 while the protein has dropped 1/3..
* fruits and vegetables ,43 different garden crops tested for nutrient content 6 out of 13 nutrients show major declines between 1950 and 1999 .. Why .. Its in the book .. Tons of really helpful information about how to shop ,, what to eat ,, what not to eat .. This is a good bathroom book .. The kids will be reading it .. I think there's three of these books .. This is the best one I think ,,Supermarket Survival Guide .. $14 ... walmart

I heard about that book the other morning, sounded interesting. Looks like I'm going to have to check it out!

Thanks, Tagger. You wouldn't know by looking at me, but I'm pretty picky about what poison I eat. This country's food supply is pretty sorry. Soylent Green is next.

it's a sad truth

profitability and greed has compromised food quality 100%

take tomatoes... they pickem green and put them

in the ethylene gas room to force them red so

they can ship them hard....

that's a good reason to grow your own right there.

So true. Not that I am a saint when it comes to food by any means but I try to grow what I can in my little garden. Its hard to by Veggies in the store after growing season ends!

Simplify.......
