Cutty/P&S Report

Anyone fishing down there recently? From boat? Seems like Fall is progressing fast, water temps dropping, and from now on my efforts will be focused on the SOUTH coast. Quick's Hole today was dead but bluefish schools in between Quicks's and Cutty area.

May have to start thinking of launching from Westport!

Looking for boating buddies, PM me.

This time of the year with water temp in Buzzards Bay down to low 50's, think Tautog! From Little Compton to Cleveland Ledge.

Great fishing close to shore or in waters under 25 feet and quite delicious baked or in a chowder.

Green Crabs are the ticket to get in.

It doesn't matter if you can swim or not if you are lashed onto a reel via a harness and a giant pulls you overboard! Enjoy the moment and the ride as it will likely be your last.

Has anyone ever heard of someone going overboard while hooked into a tuna?

Last few weekends the toggin has been great, was looking to go tomorrow but the forecast isn't lookin too great

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day ...
show him where to fish and ... you'll be sorry

I got spooked for today and stayed in with the wind forecast (I was out the last 2 days) and hoped to squeeze out tomorrow but you are right about the Friday windcast has gotten significantly worse. With another weekend storm (anyone counting for straight weekends washed out?) looks like next week before giving it another try. Thanks for all the comments on the topic and I might just have to give toggin' a try, never done it except by accident this Spring on the C Ledge hooking up on a couple undersized ones while catching sea bass.

Your dog has disgusting habits: he burps, farts, and kisses fish. Did you teach him that?

George is too modest. He knows his turf as good as anybody out there. I always learn several things fishing with him, although he always says his passenger that day is the best but that is just him being modest but I don't doubt him either.
