slip and BM
thank you guys for the mini seminar-what little information I was able to soak in has been put to use already. I just successfully drilled an off center hole on a danny and it worked great. I made a jig to clamp onto my press instead of using a lathe, but seeing it done makes it easier to do for myself.

Is it good, or is it Sofa King good?

I also appreciated all the information I picked up today at the mini seminar. But, I must have been at the food table when the off center drilling was covered, can someone fill me in?
Thanks
Rod

Your welcome.
There is another way of doing it on the drill press.
#^^^^^^^^^^^& posted about it and I copied and pasted it here somewhere. Too tired right now to look or write it all out.

Thanks bassmaster for showing us that pikie demo, you had everything down to a science and it really opened up my eyes to how in depth making plugs can get. I still can't get over how fast you turned that plug and how perfect it came out. You're like a machine

NIB I got 4 capesams plugs
Aparently I have the largest colection of his besides himself.. I look at them and just ....he's good.
That squid was the 1st one I ever made.. but as far as being more talented than someone else... well I usually tell people its about patience.. anyone who has good patience can make what ever they want. I think talent comes into play when your coming upp with ideas, but its patience that gets you places.
when I get some free time I'll make more eyes.... they're time consuming little buggars.

I just want one for my collection and all you will get is a sincere thank you. A CS plug is one of the only ones I don't have. You can use the stainless I gave you for the lip, so it will feel like I contributed. Cellar cleaned soon so you come then to visit, No Bassm'masta though, just you. Me no trust bassm'masta, he forked tongue devilman.
