Pre-Fabricated Workbenches?
Got kicked out of the kitchen.
Need sturdy work bench. Preferably wood or particlboard/corian. Can't have static.
Anyone know if say, Home Depot makes 'em or some other place?
Need a sturdy work bench to park some specialized tools (say, 22 x 54 inches), a shelf would be nice too.
Top needs to be beefy - enough to hold a 10 lb. cast iron gizmo thingy bolted to it.
Don't have time to make my own...
Thanks...
-WW

Chris, so a search for "work benches" at Sears.com (under tools heading).
Yowsa, some of this stuff is expensive!
Found something cheaper at Lowes.com - (under $100). Might take a trip to Orange.

FWW,
Don't remember prices, but search through Rockler.com. I use the site for specialty tools from time to time.

Jenn, thanks, I'll look into it. Not all Home Depot stores carry the same things but I'll take a peek!

static
you can generate a static charge just from running your hand through your hair... so the rule of thumb is to always keep one hand grounded when possible.....if not in use. perhaps wee wee is making those special bluefish treats that have fuses
