Nice. Finally someone invented a carrier you don't have to reach and crawl over to get into the back of the truck. Normal racks have a 500 pound weight capacity. I guess you loose 300 pounds with the swingout option.

Mike... have you seen up close and loaded (not U... the rack )... how stable is it?

Mounts to the reciever, and seems to have a lot going on.. I'd also wonder about the height on some rigs.. fine over the road.. but I can think of a couple cut thru's on my beach, that the rack would be doing some serious grading... 200 pound capacity...

Class II hitch Stad 2" reciver 250 – 350 LT Model, Swingaway Model with a 2" opening and a 300 lb. tongue weight capacity

It only goes to 200 lb if you are adding the Hitch Extender or have a car like a RAV 4

They look nice but I'd be concerned with rod butts dragging through some of the tracks. Now if you were going to carry front bumper rod carriers (aluminum) I'd be interested .
