I'm just busting with the yuppies comment, it is a great place but tends to be too crowded. I also liked it 15 years ago before the new owner had it and it was a hole in the wall, they had an aweswome open mike jam night on Thursdays
a good place within spittin distance to the canal is the trowbridge tavern next to the state police barracks in bourne a great beer rack and some of the finest scotches you can find on the Cape mmmm Pigs nose or sheep dip
