what i did during the big snow storm...
had to suffer through 85 degree weather and potential for bad sunburn. put my wife on a couple of her bigger fish ever though.
tarpon estimated at somewhere between 80-90 lbs. the biggest mahi of the day, a bull that went 30 lbs.
i love the off season in the northeast, gives me a chance to check out other places. this was in puerto rico.

Nice pics man, looks like an amazing time. I've heard that the Mahi don't hold there amazing colors after they die, could just be the sun, but the colors in the Mahi gaff pic are amazing.
And is it me or do Tarpon look like oversized stripers........

wow
I'm jealous.
I love eating mahi too they are are quite delicious. I wouldn't compare a Tarpon to a striper but more like and over sized anchovie. they are know for the crazy jumps and it looks as though that one filled the stereo type!
