follow him!!
the hole is within a hundred feet of your house....i guarentee it !
they (skunks) .......dont travel to far from their burrow...
as soon as you can find that hole
and shove a running garden hose
into it and make it (no longer desirable) a bad hole...
he'll/she'll........... be moving out of your neighborhood.

Dunno how fox urine would work. I know bobcat urine works on raccoons.
I've fished within 10 feet of skunks and have never been sprayed. I shine my light on them to let them know I'm there, and don't make any sudden moves towards them. They only spray as a defensive measure. Just act normally and don't alarm them, and they'll leave you alone.

You wanna borrow my pellet gun?

its a small hole.... size of a grapefruit... or smaller..
remember skunks have big fluffy fur like a cat
and get them wet and they are real skinny
rule of thumb with critters is
if they can get their head thru the hole
they can get their body in there too

tiger piss is sold at the zoo...i think..
someones selling it...i know...
anyways, the reason for the post:
apply a grub killer chemical to your backyard
if you have a grub problem...a shovel full of dirt/lawn or two
turned over will reveal that...soon enough
remove that food source ...and they'll look elsewhere.
btw: skunks like rainy weather ...even in the daylight.

The only thing that will eat a skunk is great horned owl. No sense of smell I guess. Mabye try one of those plastic owls. I've always trapped them in a hav-a-heart trap. No sudden movments and cover them with a blanket in transit.

People piddle works good, too. And it's an excellant excuse to wander around the yard with a beer. Just don't freak the neighbors when scenting.

pee in his house: it works
i have kept the deer out my garden....
and theres fresh tracks daily all around it
but they won't venture within...
i make sure the posts get scented
and thats all it takes...
no fancy shmancy trickery...
it essentially establishes your territory
so by pissing down his hole
your making a claim stake.
when you find yourself facing the porcelan god
take a walk instead....
it's also a good place to loose some old rusty nails.

Rabid?
Slingah,
We had skunk in our yard during the day a year ago, I called animal control, they came, killed it and found it to be rabid.
They said seeing them in the daytime, is a telltale to them being rabid.

yeah but...
when people hear that...
they condem all noctournal critters
seen in daytime
(Usually early morning and dusk hours)
label them rabid and steer their cars towards them
for a quick bump -bump under .... the tires...
so i don't believe in that statement.
one night, i heard a gunshot around midnight
in my (then) residential neighborhood...
and it was some yahoo shooting a freakin possum.
the cops said the man was within his rights,
even though no hunting is allowed in that town.
skunks "are protected" by law
so its better to discourage them from making
a burrow in "your" yard
of course if it rushes at you and snarls or acts
really aggressive then --> blast him
...i have used a garden hose
many times to deter them
and have petted
a wild skunk before.
i thought it was a kitty cat.
it was a pure white albino.
i have handed cookies to racoons
and peanuts to squirells...from
1 foot away...i have it on film.

We're gonna need a bigger keg....The DIY scenting worked for me. No more skunks or groundhogs. You know it's really something when you can offend a skunk to the point of moving out with your stinky pee! I also don't have foxes lurking anymore. Pee a perimeter!
