Humminbird FF Question

Is there a way to keep the light on on the monchrome displays..??

MATRIX 67 I believe is my model.
I hit the power button to keep the light on but it brings up a window that takes up the middle of the screen and Im not sure how to exit that without shutting the light off?

tap power then the light on/off window opens. tap right arrow to turn the light on then clear to close the window.

I think if you hit "power", then adjust the brightness and hit quit, it'll stay on. I forget off hand, but it is something like that.

according to the matrix 67 manual... and i quote...

To turn the backlight on for nightfishing, or to adjust the display contrast, press the power light key to access the Light and Contrast menu. Use the 4 way key pad to select light or contrast, then use left or right cursor to change settings. Press exit to exit menu.

Maybe they did make it obvious and I am
