How would you rate August 2006
I have your responses from June and July, at the end of the year, I'll post results. Please be honest, as always.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

For me, it was blah...
I had a million things going on and the weather didn't cooperate for me when I did have a chance to go. September should be much better for me.

I caught fish each time I went. Brought home a couple nice size ones and lost a couple honkers, so I was kind of happy with my fishing from shore results. I'm going to take a 4-5 day adventure to the same place in mid September.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

August ...
Overall not my best month ... although I have stayed away the last two Augusts for the most part - chocking up fishing time and doing the family thing ... had a couple of good trips and a lot of slow to nothing trips ... but this is the first year not really fishing out of a boat ... may have to try and change that next year ... fortunately Cutty is next weekend and should have a good fall.

I had a very good August around Metro Boston. New personal best of 49". I thought it would continue but the mung and grass blades was in thick and then it started blowing Northeast. Hopefully it's still on. Best time was the new moon period. I didn't see it get overwhelming with large schools but found some decent fish in the rocks. I can't believe the girths on some of these 42"-45" fish. 25"-26". Well fed.
Top pic is a 49" with not much girth. Bottom pic is a 45" with a 25" girth. All released for someone else to have fun with.
