How did everyone do? Dead low was good at sundown with eels, the bluefish made it an expensive night, productive between the yellow eyed devils. Took a very nasty spill between some rocks, banged up my shoulder and hip and cut my face going down. Wish I could of made the BBQ. Who won the rod?

Best fish for me was a low 20lb bass and a pair of mid teen slammer blues.

Doood - You gotts be more careful

Don - thanks again for taking over the marina !

Went over after seeing / meeting a bunch of the Plugbash guys . We had a bunch of people show up to be regaled by Clammerisms and BS for a while and aftgerward breaking off and fishing....

Me & Don AfterHours went to far ends of the inbounds area with several fish each from dinks to mid/upper teen fish... I called it a night after 1am - knee was killing....

I think he did actually.Although I can't be sure.As I was blind folded an spun round in circles. No scale on us I would say high 30 low forty lb fish. Was much bigger than the 30 that the guy standing next to me thursday night caught.Seems the NIB is a good luck charm.
Dave's fish had a huge head an big shoulders,a 45-50 lb fishes head was long with no body.I hate when i see fish like that.My guess is it didn't eat for a while like it was sick or got hooked an released before.
We went to a area an fished he thru eels an I thru a jersey rigged eel.we made a bunch of cast's i thought i had one brush me.After a few more casts i told him to make a cast in their with the live eel an on the first cast he was on.He's pretty good with the live. I missed around 5 or six hits.with mines.U can't be tired an fish live eels. They (the fish)don't get hooked by themselves..

FORE!
It's usually darkest just before it turns Black..

Sorry I couldn't stick around to fish with you guys Saturday night but it was great to meet JohnR and a couple of other early arrivals. It was good to see Nils again at Kings Cove. The first time I ran into him a couple of years ago we were Kayak fishing at Quonnie and he'd just discovered the Tube'nWorm

Just wanted to thank all the plug builders who donated their amazing craftsmanship to the raffle prize that I was so lucky to win. Looking forward to showing the plugs to some big girls over the coming weeks and hope to hook up with a few of you before the season is out.

Thanks again!

Adrian

Awesome fish Mike!! These fish are all over right now!
Piemma, I doubt they took the pics where they caught the fish, not this pic at least

I believe you are right. Backbeach and I go way back and that location isn't one of the ones he fishes regularly

The pic was taken at a different location from where the fish was taken. We don't usually carry a camera, so redlite actually drove home to grab it, being the nice guy that he is. Problem was, the memory card was missing, so another trip home was made to grab the memory card. We finally found a decent backdrop where the sun angle was good and took the pic.Its the best fish I've taken in quite a while, so it was worth the extra effort and time to document it. Glad I accidentally left my cell phone on that night, otherwise I would have never received the 1AM wake up call. Wife and two year old weren't too happy though...

Nice fish, nice picture, but if it was me I'd put a rock in it and re-weigh it.
