Looking to retire in the South!
I have the perfect house for you located on Roanoke Island in the Outer Banks of NC. 12-month of fishing, perfect family town called Manteo. How about $900.00 a year for house taxes?

There are plenty of properties under $300K right now, just off the Cape. Plymouth, Wareham, Carver, etc. Some even in Buzzards Bay and Sagamore Beach.
No, nothing with taxes as low as $900, but Wareham taxes still average under $2000, from the listings I see.
