Scott you know money and influence talks. This "poor" little girl has been through enough.  But if it was the local plug builder or accountant they would be charged accordingly. In my 12 years in my law career I have learned one thing.

I wasn't following this story---what felonies could she have faced?
A second offense OUI is still only a misdemeanor here.
Would straight cocaine possession be a felony in Califruity--of all places?? Possession of a Class B here is just a misdemeanor, even as a subsequent offense.

She had coke BOTH times she was arrested. A friend of mine was the arresting officer on the first one. the first one was also a hit and run, she needs more than 1 day  |

I'm curious as to whether or not your average gang banger facing these same charges would be facing jail time at all. My suspicious mind says not. |

she's balmy, but not hot enough not to do time. They will still lock you up for misdemeanors...maybe 6 months, although they save that space for homeless drunkards and ill-represented city ordinance violators.

Hot high and drunk .....If I was in her general vicinity she wouldn't have been driving.More likely Riding!
On a side note if I was drunk and high and in possesion of dust I'd still be jail.Corruption I tell you.If your good looking and have money to blow then you must be exempt from all state and town laws.
