Observations
This is from a well known well respected bass fisherman...I found it right on!
What I have learned after 18 years in business:
1. Everyone wants something for nothing.
2. There are more experts out there than there are fish.
3. Everyone wants to be a hero, with nothing to back that claim.
4. Captains are as common as leaves on a tree.
5. People talk to much about nothing.
6. Professional anglers are the only ones who can't get paid for what they know/
refer to number one above.
7. Recreational fishermem have become more dangerous than commercial fishermen
8. Almost no one knows what a 20 lbs striper looks like.
9. Fewer know what a 30-pound striper looks like.
10.99-% have never seen a 40 or 50 lbs striper.
11.No one knows how to use their electronics.
12. "I'm Marking" doesn't mean %$%$%$%$.
13. Dressing up for the part doesn't mean you are a good fisherman.
14. Everyone wants to know exactly where we catch fish
our Fish. 15. No one will ever know.
16. Everyone wants the map marked for them-the exact spot.
17. No one has enough money for that information.
18. An awful lot of freshwater anglers are now saltwater experts.
19. No one has to "Pay Their Dues" anymore to become an expert.
20. If you can bull%$%$%$%$ and look pretty, you can be an expert too.
21. Real time and expert time are two totally different time zones.
22. Distance in miles travled over the water is different than miles traveled over the land to some experts.
23. "I lost the biggest fish ever hooked" is the lead most experts lay claim too.
24. These same experts have no pictures of any fish of any size when asked.
25. Most experts don't need any type of camera to be an expert.
Just my humble, loving, and caring opinion on this topic.
