So has anyone got plans for the 4th of July? Going to any celebrations, fireworks, cookouts etc.? I am planning on just doing a little grilling here at home....maybe go fishing early am! Other than that getting ready for 2 weeks down the Cape! How about you?

yard work, packing for vacation, and fishing all night (gotta check the town websites to make sure I avoid fire works - don't want to deal with those crowds)

Hanging out with Jess and relaxing. All of our friends will be away, so I guess it will be pretty mellow.
Gotta go to Miami on Sunday the 6th, though.
Be safe everybody,
Rick

Hoping to go yakking w/the wife and hook up with sis. and brother in law at the thimbles islands. Then to an all day cook out that a friend who owns a rest. throws every year (clams, lamb, shrimp, Filet, salmon, etc.). Finally, back home to watch the town's firework display.
Everyone - have fun and be safe.

I too will be grilling all weekend. I dont have AC in the kitchen and its too hot to cook inside. Will also consume copious amounts of bourbon with friends and the woman. Fishing those wee morning AM's.

I'll sit on one of the Bayside beaches, as I have for the last 50 years, and watch the whole Cape celebrate with fireworks. Family, lifelong friends, a couple of cold ones...it's the best. then on the 6th Jenn and I celebrate our 34 Anniversary. Life's been good to me so far.

Stay as far away from the ocean as possible. Too many idiots on the water. Be back on monday when the weekend warriors are back at work.

We have spent the last 4 years on the 4th down in wellfleet, this year we are going to my brother's house in E. Bridgewater to a huge cookout, he has a pool and a very large yard. I'll probably help him grille, then maybe play some wiffleball and swim. The rest of the weekend is a question still, maybe I can get some fishing in among the work around the house.
Have a good one and don't drink and drive.

spend the day with the wife and daughters on the boat. With any luck pull in a striper or two.....the girls love to reel in fish. Maybe get home in time to light the grill (not a necessity) maybe try and catch a fireworks display somewhere.

Nice!! What's your poison? Im partial to Maker's and Bulleit for my 'regular' bourbon, and Woodford Reserve for something a little more special (and more $$$...)

Some late night eels slinging Saturday night into Sunday morning.
