Praying to GOD that this F#&*KIN' wind slows down a bit sometime before Christmas! There are numerous 'togs with my name on them off Newport and Narragansett.
Oh, yeah, and FOOTBALL on Sunday

Daughters have hockey on Saturday, maybe crank out a nice hike on Sunday. Drink some wine by the fire.

Still got some fish here.Lots of smalls but I am optimistic..
It's pretty cold and the wind does not help..Keeping the favorite extremity from freezing off will be the main concern.
Work is about to come to a screeching halt.
Got to hold on to my pennies.
Soon I will switch to blackfish..
No rest for the NIB..

It's usually darkest just before it turns Black..

Hey, Sally, get out there for chrissakes. Boy, I thought you were made of stouter stuff than that

Sorry, Bry - couldn't help myself.

Yeah, I just checked my crabs on the patio - they're happy under a bed of bubbleweed - however looks like the eels are going to Green Bridge for a last minute pardon from the Guv - their tank temp is 36 degrees as of this AM -

I'm definitely gonna go to Job Lot for more long johns and then work -

Then poop around with gear organizing in my spare time and continue cleaning Uncle Crafty's Tackle Shack, I guess.

I thought we had decided on their fate already...

as far as the weekend; it ain't the cold, it's the NW 25-30 keeping us at the dock!

I think I've got enough eels in the tackle shack freezer to keep you out of mischief for a while come Spring -

I dunno, I guess I'm getting soft in my old age - I'm gonna let the buggas go at GB rather than whack 'em Sopranos style

And yeah, it is blowing like stink NW - not exactly conducive to safe boating, a real consideration this time of year, Bry.

Anyway, say hi to Pa for me - see you guys at the next meeting

Today - Dropped boat off this morning for winterizing, etc. Now working from home then taking my wife to eye appt. Needs to get injections (yes, needle in eye) into her left eye due to scar tissue. She takes it like a champ and all I have to do is chauffeur her around.

Sat - Breaking down gear, cleaning and storing.

Sun - Relax with family and football

Winterizing the house. Raking leaves, stacking wood, taking out the dock. Sounds like work. So i better add some drinking.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Annual pre-thanksgiving party here tomorrow. Me and Jess have been gearing up all week.
Free range turkey brining right now
Honey Baked Ham
Cream Poached Turnips
Horseradish Mashed Potatoes
Sausage and Oyster Stuffing
And 40 people in my little house.
Then turkey day at my parents on Sunday.
Wish me luck!
