Fishing Shirts.....
It seems every angler on every TV show is wearing what looks like a bowling shirt, covered with every imaginable sponsor. Think they wear them when there's not a camera onboard????
And then there are the wannabe road cyclists who get all decked out in their adorned shirts and shorts.... and they have to pay for them...
Should have put this grumpy old pharts....

But yeh, a liittel over the top for this:
The comfortable guide shirts and pants - very comfortable and practical. Comfortable as an old cotton shirt full of holes (the best kind). Nascar Fishing Shirt - I dunno. Like putting a bunch of stickerz on your Japanese Tuner Cars

Striped Bass Fishing - All Stripers
Kobayashi Maru Election - there is no way to win.

That looks like it should be worn by someone in lycra shorts competing in the Tour de France...

WTF.
if someone pays me to wear a shirt with brands on it while I fish, sign me up...
#^^^^^^^^^^^& on the chest, habs on the sleeve, aquaskinz on the collar... Gibbs on the back, rebel on the shoulder, redfin on the other shoulder...
and I'd be throwing an eel...

Professional Saltwater fishing is basically a joke. The FW scene is huge in comparison and they sell a lot more FW "stuff" than saltwater "stuff".
Some of those FW sponsors have a very nice pay package...yeah the boat/truck and clothing is plastered with ad's but if I would fish in a thong if they wanted me to and paid me that kind of coin to go fishing.

yeah it's pretty crazy, and not to hijack the thread, but most fishing shows are just one big advertisement anyway. anybody catch the lastest OTW this weekend? I enjoyed the show, but they are getting more like the big boys with those gratuitious shots of the evinrude and the toyota truck and the triumph boat!
hey, I remember the names, so it's working!!
I think in the days of the DVR and fast forwarding through ads, the companies have to get them in somewhere.
