Bugger...
How can I tell what type of memory sticks I have? I have a TON but no idea what they are. Old, newer, even newer stuff.
If you have any idea how I can tell, lemme know. Like I said...i've got a TON!

Does each stick have a paper label? Read it!
Sometimes it is actually written/imprinted on the circuit board itself?

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

yea or on the chip. But it don't always say WHAT kind of memory it is. There is PC100, PC133, ddr, sdram, whackyjamram, the list goes on. It will look different on the bottom too where the pins are, some have one divider, some have two.
Sometimes it's only marked on the chips. If your not sure what it is punch it in google...

I got a box addressed from Tim S today. I was afraid to open it.
There was a note inside.
"Salty
I saw you were in need of some memory. Enjoy! Not sure what is what but your welcome to it all.
Your bestest friend in the whole wide world
Timmy S"
There's like 10g's worth of memory in the box
