Stopped in to M&D's to get get some jigs before heading to the Ditch yesterday. While I was there I got to talking to Mike about a BreakAway rod (12'-3"). The only thing I didn't like about it was that there was no trigger (I like conventional). He told me that no manufacturer put them on factory rods. I told him I wanted to buy the rod but would like a reel seat with a trigger and could he change it over. Mike told me to stop back in the morning (this morning) to see if he had it done. Well I stopped by this morning and he handed me my new rod complete with new reel seat that looked like it was insalled at the factory. I don't think I could have gone anywhere and got service like that. Thanks Mike this rod is sweeeet.
Now all I need to do is put it to the test on some large.
