No charters in mass

The state shut charters down today until the stay at home order is lifted. My guess would be June 1st

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

Yeah, it’ll keep the headboats in too. Will make things better for sea bass fishermen; won’t catch ‘em all in the first week.

Spend quality time with the boys Paul. They grow up too quickly.

no charters

Wow that sucks Niko. I am so sick of this Corona crap! Do not touch your face unless you wash your hands! We as humans touch our faces without our being aware we are doing it. The governor of Michigan was in the middle of an update telling everyone what to do when she licked her finger to change the page on what she was reading! Holy crap!
My wife is an ER nurse with 43 yrs. exp. She comes home, hits the shower and we go on as usual. RI won't let us in but their governor tells RI residents to go to ma to shop on tv. Go in a store wear a mask,I see people wearing masks in their car when they are alone! Have fum fishing with the boys Niko. I don't know their ages but there will come a time when they find girls and all bets are off! See ya brother

RI Gov said she'd prefer RI'ers stay in RI but if you have to go to Mass you should quarantine. Which is a little silly, but we are not necessarily as bad off as Mass.

I crack up when the people are in the car are driving with Masks on.

Curious as to what that means. You are keeping this in the Covid-19 discussion I am assuming.

Yes, we seem to have a lower rate of C19 and a higher testing rate per capita than Mass

It is not much but RI seems to be doing best from NJ to Mass. Not by a long shot though

I've had my own boat, got rid of it when kids were born, we weren't using it enough to justify the cost. If all goes well, as soon as the youngest graduates from college, I'm driving home from his graduation, and doing 2 things - giving my work clothes to Goodwill, and buying a small boat that I can fish on and handle 10 lobster pots.

I think that if you fish on boats less than 10-15 times a year, you're better off chartering. And you meet some great guys like Cohenfishing and Fishbucket and hopefully Niko this year.

Similar to what was done in New Jersey earlier in the week, the RFA teamed up with several local for-hire groups to file a request with the Massachusetts Governor to be included in Phase One reopening of the state.
