Thats real deep without wire. For wire it's 100ft of line to get 10ft deep, with mono and braid you'll need a big trolling weight but trial and error is all I can suggest, start with an ounce and keep working up. No luck trolling < 10ft depths?

i tube and worm in 6' to 15'. anything over that i use parachutes/pork rinds on wire but you can parachute with lead too.
either way,, you want it right off the bottom.

Mike, I made up some tubes with a 2 oz smilin bill head for drifting they work well. just drop it till it hits bottom then crank it in a turn or two.

Mike,
Some of my freinds have switched to tubing with braid instead of leadcore. The braid is so damn thin, and leadcore is fat, that the braid has been getting down better than the lead. These are freinds who will tube the deep waters North of Billingsgate in 40 to 60 ft.

I'm using braid. Thanks for the tips guys. I've been using a 1 to 2 oz sinker. I guess I'll keep experimenting till I find what works.
