Question Icon Plugs

As I was spinning wood and my mind was freewheeling ( nothing new there, but you know what I mean) I thought that there are some plugs that are icons-you see it and you immediately think of a spot. For instance, the Pichney Conrad = the second rip at the Race. The Canal Special and the Smilin'Bill = the Ditch. Any others that you folks can think of?

I always think of the Race when I see a black sinking needle. Pencils mean it's June on the Jersey shore.

Spot burn? Moi? Was just thinking of lures that were made famous by spots and vice versa. And plugs that are just and icon alone. You say saltwater plug, I think immediately of an A-40. No ulterior motive at all. But now that you mention it, this info could be used for evil.

Can't get anymore synonymous than "Block Island and Needlefish" it was the true "needlefish proving ground" in the 1980s. It's still referred to as "Needlefish Island" by some .

Montauk and Darter are hard to separate.
