Got Stripers Now Famous Ledgerunners

GS' Ledgerunner Baits received some notoriety in Molly Benjamin's Weekly Fishing report today:

"Cape Cod Canal and Buzzards Bay
1) Mike Thomas talks of a guy who caught 30 quality (keeper) bass in one tide a few days ago. That's sweet. Chunkbaits, which are pretty much standard fare here, are not producing nearly as much as jigs. Try a 9-inch black SlugGo or 9- to 13-inch ledge runners with 2- to 5-ounce jigheads.
Water temps here are around five degrees higher than normal. Saturday's canal tide is east-running around 8:30 a.m.

Not much going on in Buzzards. Tons and tons of bait but few gamefish. There are a whale of a lot of tautog and snapper blues, which haven't yet worked their way around to Nantucket Sound, a curiosity."
