Have been over to Duxbury Bay and beach everyday for a a couple weeks. Haven't seen any peanut bunker. The last three years the bay has been loaded with it the end of August and September.
Just a few fish passing the beach offshore...
Weird? Or normal? Thoughts?
Maybe too warm still. Friend who lives near white cliffs has not seem them in that area either yet. I fished the canal last nite for a few hours after work and couldn't believe how warm the water still is and it was flowing out of CC Bay.

I was fishing with Tim Lynch ,retired marine biologist at DEM/RI,a coupla days ago and he said it was not a good spawn this year for bunker,but...they netted a ton of anchovies in the tows this year.
