wet Weekend Plans??

What's up for the weekend?

Gonna be a little snotty AND its a Bye week

But I do remember fishing through the last remnants of a hurricane (right Redlite? Ocean Mist? ) so the fishing CAN be good. WE ALL MUST be SAFE.

So what's up for the weekend?

tried to get out for a while before it got too big last night, but I didn't make it in time and ended up with nothing but a 2 hour car ride and 1/2 hour walk for my efforts.

rest of the weekend is tied up with luds' wedding. at least with this weather, i won't be contemplating sneaking out of the hotel room when the wife falls asleep (well, i may still contemplate sneaking out, but it won't be to fish )

Have the daughter this weekend, was planning on visiting some friends down on the Cape who live on one of the south shore rivers there, a good fishing spot, but may hold off as it won't be fun for her.

Hanging out with Jess tonight and tomorrow, then fishing with sfoley78 on Sunday AM...crappy tide and wind, not sure what luck, we will have, if any.
This will be my last shot to fish until Mid October...I'll be in Italy then Utah.
Good Luck Everybody, Stay Safe.

I'm just concerned that the easterly blow will send too much crap into the Canal and make it impossible to jig.

I can always find a place with the wind behind me or over my shoulder, and rain never bothered me either.

But if I can't get more than 3 bounces out of a jig without it getting loaded up with gunk......

I hit the suds last night before this mess rolled in and made out ok. It might be just enough to make me go back out in this crap!

Looking at tide charts, weather reports and google earth. Changing hooks, doing laundry, worrying about running out of gas money, worrying about ferry delays. In other words, preparing for MV. Whatever the effect of the weather, from the weak reports from there things can't really go THAT far downhill. It's ok if I put everything off until the last minute though, cuz then I can pull an all nighter getting packed and claim I did it on purpose to get myself used to sleeping in the daytime again. Astronaut training indeed.....
