Does it matter any if you load the bigger popper from the rear top or rear bottom or is it all the same & how much shot, an ounce I assume is OK.

Try and contact Stiff Tip. He uses different loads for different applications. Has a special weight/load for the canal and a lighter load for general surf use.

It was mentioned that the bomber version and possibly the original cordell have chambers that have a gap of 1/8 inch between chambers.
Therefore using a lead shot of greater then 01 will prevent the shot from moving between chambers Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device
