It is indeed Little Feat. I was scheduled to see Lowell the night before he passed but did not make it if memory serves.

Watching the Bruins/Celtics tonight. Working tomorrow and playing with my new John Deere tractor Sunday. (nothing exciting, just a lawn tractor)

Relieved to have the weekend here. Started up a somewhat complicated kitchen remodel yesterday and it went better than I thought it would, mostly due to many hours of planning. Drive the girls to food shop and MIL for a perm. I postponed my long anticipated tactical shot gun course which was scheduled to be an all day outdoor event tomorrow.... Moved my registration to the July 8 date. No way I am doing that in predicted downpour.... Am I right?
And Stanley Cup! Best ten days of the year for hockey. Four meaningful games a night. And then the numbers shrink by the round. Last night was a good one for the Bruins, though giving up two goals in the last four minutes are a concern...
Grind and fill a few chips and holes in some hatches I pulled off the boat. They have wood core so when they get wet inside, the sun heats up and out come the "boiled" water with brown wood tannins that stain the deck... Boat is still in great shape at 30 years old.

Got to watch a good hockey game last night.
On the Nantucket ferry right now with some custom cabinets in the trailer to install. Heading back last boat tomorrow so probably miss the B’s game. There were no reservations I could get during the week.
Enjoy the show Bob, I saw them at great woods once with my wife.

He is referring to the crabgrass and broadleaf preventer. Most keep those weeds from germinating, weeds and grass seed. So if you want to seed you need to find the right one. I use the Scotts triple action.

ah, now I understand. I don't poison anything on our farm and have been completely organic since 73 when we bought this land.

My dandelions feed my neighbors bees right now.

And I totally respect that, Paul. Of course, you and your clothes are getting covered with it working at the golf course....

gotta luv the pre-emergent thread, we need a Lawn page Boss

Feat was very good, but this is the Bill Payne band now without Lowell and Paul on slide guitars and vocals. Still would go see them again at some point.

p.s. never been to a show were I felt so out of place for being younger than everybody else (and yes, I am medicare qualified) lots of walking canes and one can of oxygen that I saw. My wife thought the Remain in Light show was old, but it did not hold a candle to this one.

Once the forsythia have been flowering for several days I put it down. I’ve found the ground warms up fast and you can miss the window. The Lesco products I use are granular and take a little time to water in.

Paulie, I try to minimize chemicals for the obvious reasons. Only thing I’ll use is to keep crabgrass, yellow sedge and chickweed from displacing grass in the summer. I don’t spray flowering weeds that the bees like. Thistle or dandelions get pulled if they’re bugging me.

Been told I have one of the best lawns in town

ahh the american lawn fetish. think of all of that wasted growing space that could be utilized to grow abundant summer gardens.
