He is referring to the crabgrass and broadleaf preventer. Most keep those weeds from germinating, weeds and grass seed. So if you want to seed you need to find the right one. I use the Scotts triple action.

ah, now I understand. I don't poison anything on our farm and have been completely organic since 73 when we bought this land.

My dandelions feed my neighbors bees right now.

No boat, back in the suds.

And I totally respect that, Paul. Of course, you and your clothes are getting covered with it working at the golf course....

True Ross but as least my dogs don't have to walk on it and lick their paws. I even use pet friendly fert.

Once the forsythia have been flowering for several days I put it down. I’ve found the ground warms up fast and you can miss the window. The Lesco products I use are granular and take a little time to water in.

Paulie, I try to minimize chemicals for the obvious reasons. Only thing I’ll use is to keep crabgrass, yellow sedge and chickweed from displacing grass in the summer. I don’t spray flowering weeds that the bees like. Thistle or dandelions get pulled if they’re bugging me.

Been told I have one of the best lawns in town
