after turning head move arse off center..this is going to run a little rough when lathe is turned on ....be careful

oh yea..5 3/4 inches long ....2.7 ounces..Problem. making gash for lip and backfilling.hairline cracks starting to appear..I hope i can dremmel out a lip slot leaving sides of Tadpole intact.. Sits in the tub with top of plug just breaking the surface ..swims ????????

Question

TAGGAR
Would you use the off center method to turn a plug like the CREEK CHUB -"Spin Deepster" or just be able to turn on a straight blank?

No ...Just plugit..I don't have one ,but that plug looks round to me.. The thing with turning wood everything is always round,unless modified on a beltsander or something later..Changing the centers in mid turn and you can throw round out of wack.See how the Tadpole is straight on the back and has a belly hanging below..Thats what I was trying to do .You can also go side to side..I got a P.A. Surfer plug that is extreme off center turning .. I'll take pic and post later..No Duplicator with this kind of work so its slower ..
