parachute jig this weekend while fishing for bass....oooh, I hope the real big fluke return this year....That would make a heck of a fillet eh?

We got a 8 pounder on a parachute off Lucas this weekend. Never seen a fluke caught wire lining before. Let alone, a large fluke. Sure was tasty though.

17# no sh&%?!? That is a monster..I would get the same thrill from that as a 60# bass. I know many other's wouldn't but I would.
The biggest I have had is 12 and that was a loooong time ago. Last year we had a couple in the 9 range and I was very happy. And many respectable 5+ fish.
I hope to have the family out their next weekend look for a nice slab.
