Thumbs up OK - I PROMISE - One Last Site Raffle for a while - Skinz Bags!!!

OK - I PROMISE, just this one last site raffle for a while. Courtesy of the guys and guys over at Aquaskinz, we have a NEW set of prizes for supporting S-B in a raffle. Kadir and Alberto donated for this raffle:

The BIG Surfbag:

The Small Surfbag:

The LARGE and SMALL Belt Pouches (gotta get ME some):

The Eel Bag & Large D-Ring and Small Swivel Clips

All the product details are on their site: http://www.aquaskinz.com/
I'll need to figure up how much all this goes for but it must be about $300 for all of it.

Should we do it as a raffle and everyone can take some chances? Or as an auction? I plan to throw in 4 or 5 custom plugs that have been donated to me & the site just to sweeten the pot (and if anyone else wants to donate a plug ) . Think I'll bring the bags to Plug Nite at MSBA this Weds....

Big Thanks to the guys over at Aquaskinz for the Gear!!!

disclaimer - plugs in pictures were PROMOTIONAL pictures from their site - THOSE PLUGS are not coming with the bags

John,

I suggest that you do a raffle....Auctions shut out too many

looks like you could have seven prizes

Raffle sounds like the way to go -

So where do I buy the winning tickets?

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

I think a raffle lets everyone in on it.

I don't think there are seven prizes. I think some of the stuff goes together like the belts and the eel bag or something like tahta. If so , they should go togetehr as a prize. I may be wrong.

I'd be happy to throw in a homemade plug as well. I'm just a beginning plug builder so there not the nicest plugs around, but if it sweetens the pot at all... I've got my first batch of 12 and another batch of 10 that were just sealed. I'll post pics of the latest batch when they're done. John, you can take your pick of any one you want.

You should at least throw the 3rd place guy a bone. maybe a plug or 2.

OK then - maybe a 3rd prize of a couple three plugs....

What should we charge for the tickets? Should I bring some to the MSBA meeting?

$20 per ticket. i hate getting an "arms length" for the same price and then trying to find my ticket. this way it's a fair, but worthy price and you can buy as many as you want.

nice donation kadir, alberto, and the rest.

OK Bob - I will bring them tomorrow in case anyone wants to see them but no ticket sales... A couple of the Pms mentioned same raffle prices as before but I want to simplify.

2 for 10, 6 for 20 - keep the overall ticket count down

Thanks!

John
